COVID-19 Protocols

Our clinic is now open for in-person appointments, with the following protocols in place.

1. WE’RE A MASK-FRIENDLY WORKPLACE.

Masks are now optional for both staff and clients entering the building. If you feel more comfortable having our staff wear masks, let us know and we’ll happily oblige. On occasion, we might ask you to do the same. Please be flexible and understanding if our staff ask you to wear a mask, which we can provide if needed.

2. ONE CLIENT MAY ATTEND EACH APPOINTMENT.

This helps us to manage reopening in a safe way while accommodating our doctor/technician teams in our small exam rooms.

3. PLEASE CALL US TO ADVISE ONCE YOU HAVE ARRIVED.

Call our front desk @ 705-426-5206. Our technicians will then call you to get details before you and your pet come inside.

4. DURING THE CHECK-IN PROCESS, OUR STAFF WILL REVIEW OUR COVID-19 SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE.

If you are currently experiencing symptoms, have tested positive in the last 10 days or have had contact with someone who has tested positive in the last 5 days, we ask that you not enter the clinic.

5. WE WILL STILL OFFER CURBSIDE APPOINTMENTS FOR THOSE WHO WISH.

We understand that not everyone will be ready for in-person appointments just yet.

6. CERTAIN APPOINTMENTS WILL STILL HAPPEN CURBSIDE.

For surgery admittance, emergencies and last-minute appointments, technician triage will still be curbside depending on exam room availability.

7. MEDICATION AND FOOD PICK-UP WILL REMAIN CURBSIDE FOR NOW.

This will help to reduce the amount of indoor foot traffic.

Please note: Beaverton Crossroads has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for verbal or physical abuse, demanding behaviour or any displays of aggression towards our staff. Clients who violate this policy will be asked to leave the property and will not receive services by Beaverton Crossroads in the future.
