What is Pet Wellness?

The doctors and staff at Beaverton Crossroads believe in a Wellness Plan for your pet that includes regular vaccinations, a yearly blood test to ensure that all is well in your animal's body, and an annual physical exam.  By making your pet's health a priority in this way, it allows us to anticipate, prevent, or quickly diagnose any health issues that may arise.

Having an annual bloodtest is invaluable because it screens for conditions such as liver disease, heartworm disease, pancreatitis, diabetes, kidney disease, renal failure, kidney failure, leukemia, and anemia.  Testing gives you peace of mind in the event that everything is fine, and in the case of a problem, we can begin treatment quickly.  Since your pets can't tell you when they don't feel well, blood testing is a very helpful evaluation.
